Women’s Wing is a nation-wide network of dedicated women.
Women are no less than
men when it comes to WORK and its activities.
All around us we see the damage that has been done in the name of religion by all of the world’s major faiths. The misrepresentation, misuse and manipulation of the religious scriptures have caused grave deterioration to our social and cultural norms, our laws, our ethics and morals in our day to day lives. At WORK Charitable Trust, we realize the seriousness of the situation and women are no less than men when it comes to WORK and its activities. Women’s Wing is a nation-wide network of dedicated women working as the backbone of the WORK Charitable Trust’s diverse activities targeted towards developing cohesion and harmony within the society and towards upliftment and betterment of all our fellow countrymen irrespective of their caste, creed or religion. A few of the main concerns of where WORK Women’s Wing is active along with the brothers are:
Efforts towards Communal Harmony:
WWW (WORK Women Wing) works tirelessly towards spreading communal harmony through religious common grounds in their cities and by going places and travelling far and wide.
Peace Walk:
Yearly organisation of Peace Conference and Peace Walk in collaboration with HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and its partner, the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) an International organization which holds a special status with UN ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council)
Compassion Day:
Our sisters along with other WORKers (brothers) render their services in organising yearly celebration of Compassion Day on 12th of Rabi Ul Awwal i.e. the 12th Day of the third month of Lunar Calendar marked as the Birthday of Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.) in the form of Free Medical Camp. Every year on an average 5000 people in different cities of India and abroad from economically underprivileged background get the benefit of this medical camp irrespective of their religion or caste.
Blood Donation Camp:
Where an analysis of the WHO data reveals that only 6% donations are done by women out of the whole population of India, Women of WWW are brave enough to come forward for donating blood and invite others for the noble cause.
Eid Milan Samaroh:
Eid Milan Samaroh is an interfaith conference organized in collaboration with our sister organization Hind Bhaichara Samiti. The Women’s Wing of WORK Charitable Trust apart from their duties at their homes, seem willing to reach early to the venue and volunteer despite the limitations of their homes on the eve of the festival in organising and managing the yearly Eid Milan Samaroh.
Deepawali Celebrations:
Clothes, sweets and food distribution by Women’s Wing among our underprivileged brethren on the eve of Deepawali brings light and joy in their lives and gives them the reason to celebrate the festival with others.
Safai Aadha Imaan (Cleanliness is half of faith) Movement:
Marham – A Non-Profitable Organization founded by Mr. Irtiza Qureshi, resident of Delhi, has joined hands with WORK Charitable Trust under the patronage of Allama Syed Abdullah Tariq. The volunteers of Women’s Wing went from door to door to create awareness to keep the city clean and help in the plantation drive.
Let’s Move Towards Amity Conferences:
‘Let’s Move Towards Amity’ Conferences are Interfaith conferences but with a difference that are organised by our sister organisation, Hind Bhaichara Samiti. In these conferences speakers are allowed to speak on controversial subjects about other faiths in order to remove undiscussed distances and differences. Work Women Wing play vital role in different organisational and managerial aspects.
All India Mushaira:
All India Mushaira is a much-awaited event organised by Hind Bhaichara Samiti in order to bring the communities together in a good mood. Women and Girls volunteer untiringly despite the function being held in chilly winter nights.
Charity during Crisis:
Women Wing contribute regularly to help the needy section of the society. Some of the activities include distribution of woollens during the winters and toys and clothes for the children and food packets in the labour colonies and slum areas.
WWW also contributed by sending flowers and candies to the neighbours to show solidarity in times of loneliness and anxiety during the lockdown period.
Student Personality Development Program:
A program for the students of 9th to 12th grades from different schools was organised to help them discover the hidden aspects of their personality and unknown potentials, accelerate success to experience a stress free mind, peace within and a healthy body.
WWW played vital role in organising the event by making placards, promps and other materials and also by volunteering and assisting especially the female students and their mentors.
Contribution in the Development of Content:
Apart from these responsibilities, Women’s Wing also routinely looks after the development and designing of relevant content for the promotion of communal harmony, justice and equality, within the society through various media by designing graphics and editing different clips and videos.
Organising Workshops:
WWW organise different 3 to 10 days workshops to teach the people the scriptures of other faiths to bring about the harmony and brotherhood in the country.
